Charlotte gets more exciting all of the time, and it’s an excellent place to host your wedding (especially if you’re planning to make a weekend out of it!). Here’s our short list of favorite spots.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
It’s hard to beat a location with this many beautiful options. Even the indoor space works beautifully for a wedding, but you can take advantage of their endless outdoor space even if it rains (they allow tenting!). It’s a little bit of a drive outside of Charlotte proper, which creates the perfect opportunity to load up a bus full of family and friends to what feels like a private location. Also, you’ll be supporting a non-profit!
Best for: secret garden vibes

The Ritz Carlton Charlotte
You wouldn’t know it from the outside, but Charlotte’s Ritz Carlton has an Urban Garden in the center, fully-enclosed in glass. It’s as gorgeous as it sounds. If you’ve had experiences with The Ritz Carlton brand before, you know that they consistently treat their guests like absolute gold. That lines up with what you want! A hotel may seem ultra-traditional, but there are so many ways to make this one feel fresh and modern…while enjoying the classic service that makes it so special.
Best for: peak luxury & unmatched hospitality

The Ballantyne Hotel
If you’re excited by the idea of having your family and friends celebrate at a resort for the weekend, you need to put The Ballantyne at the top of your list. It’s a massive, meticulously-kept resort property with several options to consider. Want to have your ceremony in a garden? They have a beautiful one. Need a massive ballroom? Check. Portraits on a grand staircase? Absolutely. Plus, we can add a pool party to your weekend event schedule.
Best for: resort-style bliss

Foundation For The Carolinas
Hosting your wedding at FFTC means supporting the community of Charlotte…and benefiting from their gorgeous event spaces. Everything feels modern and fresh, and you have one of the best vantage points among the buildings of Uptown Charlotte. The indoor/outdoor Legacy Hall is one of the most unique ceremony settings in town. If you and your partner are city types, this is a must-visit.
Best for: Uptown magic

Mint Museum Randolph
If you wish you had a sprawling property for a tented wedding, you’ll want to look at Mint Museum Randolph. Their. Lawn. Is. Huge. And perfectly manicured. We can totally pitch a tent with flags at each peak, and still have space for an outdoor ceremony. It’s like having an entire park to yourself, in the middle of the city. If that sentence excited you, set up a site visit ASAP.
Best for: dreamy tents

Mint Museum Uptown
The Uptown location of the Mint Museum delivers city elegance beautifully. The contemporary architecture, high ceilings, and massive windows are perfect — it all allows you to create something completely in line with your style as a couple. While it’s super customizable, you could just as easily have a stunning wedding by letting the space (and the city skyline) speak for itself. It’s so easy to love.
Best for: endless possibilities
